Is it safe?

There are no absolutely risk-free ways to make money in financial markets. Risk exists everywhere — even when funds are placed in a bank account, there is always the possibility of license revocation or limited compensation.

Binary options are no exception.

The primary source of risk is user behavior. Discipline matters more than strategy:

• Are you prone to emotional or impulsive decisions?

• Can you stop after reaching a daily profit target?

• Can you accept losses without trying to immediately recover them?

Every trader experiences both profitable and losing days. The key principle is knowing when to stop:

• +20% in a day? Lock the profit and step away.

• −20% in a day? Accept it calmly and continue trading another day.

Binary options reward discipline, not aggression.

Why do Intrade Bar quotes differ from TradingView or other brokers?

Price discrepancies are normal.

There are dozens of quote providers, and no two feeds are perfectly identical.

Intrade Bar pricing model

• Quotes are sourced from FXCM

• Displayed price formula: (bid + ask) / 2

• This is the standard and correct method for binary options brokers

TradingView differences

• TradingView does not account for spread

• Bid and ask prices are shown as equal

• TradingView is an analytical service, not a broker, so spread is not required for its purpose

Both approaches are technically correct — they simply serve different roles.

On Intrade Bar:

• Historical data comes directly from FXCM

• Live prices update 15 times per second

• FXCM itself can update up to 100 times per second

• Quote frequency will continue to be improved over time

All trades can be independently verified using:

• historical chart data, and

• the built-in quote verification section

We strongly recommend understanding how bid/ask pricing works — doing so explains why most brokers do not display prices this transparently.

Is there an Android app?

Yes, an Android app is available.

Common Samsung issues and solutions

Issue: White screen

• Go to: Settings → Apps → intrade.bar → Storage Tap Clear cache and Clear data

Issue: “Unknown instrument” (red dot instead of chart)

• Go to: Settings → General settings → Date & time Enable Automatic date & time

Both issues are device-level configuration problems and are easily resolved.

Are binary options banned since July 2, 2018?

Partially true.

In 2018, ESMA introduced strict restrictions for brokers registered in the European Union.

Intrade Bar is registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, a jurisdiction that:

• is not subject to ESMA regulations,

• does not require mandatory binary options licensing under EU law.

As a result, those restrictions do not apply to Intrade Bar.

What happens if the opening and closing prices are the same?

If the closing price equals the opening price:

• the trade result is voided, and

• the full trade amount is returned to the user.

No profit, no loss.
